Give generously! Consider establishing a Named Fund to honor a loved one or someone you admire. The CCSF Trustees will work with you to help design the manner of giving which suits you. You are encouraged to contact a Fund trustee by sending an e-mail to ccsf@colonial.net.

Opportunities include:

  • Annual Appeal contributions (restricted or unrestricted)
  • Phonathon contributions (restricted or unrestricted)
  • Deferred gifts (charitable trusts and other life income gifts)
  • Bequests (of property, stocks, and holdings)
  • Timed gifts (the Kenneally Fund and the Norton Levy Fund grew over time to reach the CCSF's $20,000 benchmark for named funds)

This registration is free and without obligation.

We will be pleased to discuss the tax-saving advantages, timing of distributions, and the revocable options which may be exercised by your estate. Contact a Trustee at ccsf@colonial.net.

IRS REMINDER ON CHARITABLE GIVING: The tax benefit for charitable contributions is available for taxpayers who itemize contributions. Only contributions actually made during the tax year are deductible. If a taxpayer pledged $500 in September but paid the charity only $200 by 12/31/12, the 2012 deduction would be $200. Credit card charges and payments by check are included in the year they are given to the charity even though the taxpayer may not pay the credit card bill or have the bank account debited until the next calendar year.

Pension Protection Act of 2006 (H.R. 4, Public Law 109-280)

Charitable IRA Donations

The Pension Protection Act allows taxpayers 70.5 yrs. of age or older to donate money to charity directly from their IRA account. The distributions will be tax-free and avoid the penalty on early withdrawals. Taxpayers are allowed to donate up to $100,000 per year from their IRA. Since the distribution will not be included in taxable income, individuals will not be able to claim a tax deduction for the charitable contribution.

(We urge you to consult your tax advisor for information specific to your situation.)

AN OPPORTUNITY TO SUPPORT OUR STUDENTS!

When using this feature, you will have an opportunity to designate a Named Fund, recognition, or memorial. You will also be able to send an e-card (at no cost) to inform a party of your choice that you have made this donation. Your donation will appear on your credit card statement as a donation to Network for Good. It will, however, be conveyed to the Concord Carlisle Scholarship Fund.

Donations of vehicles, boats, trailers, snowmobiles, motorcycles, etc., may be made to the CCSF through DONATION LINE, LLC.  This is a very simple process and free pick-up can be arranged virtually anywhere within the U. S.

If you are unable to donate at this time, please consider sending us your pledge! This helps us tremendously as we plan our budgets and, equally important, it enables us to concentrate our fundraising efforts on others whom we've been unable to reach. You may submit your pledge by sending us an e-mail at ccsf@colonial.net.
