To be eligible for scholarships from the funds listed within the instructions, you must have completed secondary school studies and be a current or past resident of Concord (MA) or Carlisle (MA), or have attended school in either of these towns.

Students who complete the CCSF application process will automatically be considered for all CCSF-funded scholarships and for scholarship assistance from all CCSF Affiliated Organizations

2012-13 ACADEMIC YEAR "IN-COLLEGE" APPLICATION DEADLINE: 
APRIL 2, 2012.
2012-13 ACADEMIC YEAR HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR APPLICATION DEADLINE:
MAY 1, 2012

Please understand that, in fairness to all who meet the deadlines,
"In-college" applications mailed after April 2, 2012, cannot be considered; 
High School Senior applications mailed after May 1, 2012, cannot be considered.

To assist you, we have prepared
A SUGGESTED TIME-LINE FOR THINGS YOU MUST DO.

 

NOW:   Review the CCSF application and instructions. Note that you must submit the application, your most recent transcript, and a copy of your FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) to the CCSF by:

                      April 2, 2012, for "In-College" applicants.
                  May 1, 2012, for High School Senior applicants.

NOVEMBER:  Request a PIN (personal identification number) from the Department of Education. Your PIN  will significantly reduce processing time on your FAFSA

DECEMBER:  Encourage your parents/guardians to start assembling their financial information.   Request a copy of the FAFSA from your school's Guidance or Financial Aid Office.  If you plan to complete the FAFSA on-line, visit the site and review the application.  Note that you may start your FAFSA now and save your work for completion at a later date.  Check the FAFSA website for detailed instructions.

JANUARY:  Complete all family taxes ASAP!  As soon as they are filed, complete and submit the FAFSA.

FEBRUARY:  Complete your CCSF application.  Request that your latest transcript be mailed to the CCSF.  Mail your CCSF application and a COPY of your Student Aid Report (SAR) to the CCSF as soon as possible. 

MARCH:  If not previously done, (1) mail your CCSF application and copy of your Student Aid Report (SAR) to the CCSF BEFORE April 2, 2012, and (2) request that your transcript be mailed to the CCSF BEFORE April 2, 2012.

APRIL:  All "In-College" application materials must have been submitted prior to April 2, 2012.  All Hign School Senior application materials must be submitted prior to May 1, 2012.


Note:  For your convenience, all materials have been created as "fill-in" forms that can be completed on your computer.  Alternatively, you may simply print out the form and complete it manually. 

If you encounter difficulty when accessing these forms, please send an e-mail explaining your problem to ccsf@colonial.net.  We will respond promptly and send you the materials by mail or in another file format, e.g., MSWord, that works for you.

Also:  If you have not updated to Adobe Reader X, you are urged to do so by selecting the Adobe Reader link given below.

Important!

All applicants, including those who are currently receiving a CCSF-based scholarship, must submit a current copy of their Student Aid Report (SAR) from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
